How is it that the gas meter fails to pass gas after installation

First: the pipeline pressure is too small to meet the pressure loss of the gas meter.

The pipeline pressure in front of the domestic gas meter shall be at least 300pa. For details, please refer to gbt6968-2011. Such pipeline pressure only ensures that the gas can pass through the gas meter, but the gas stove can be used normally. According to the provisions of gb50028-2006 code for design of urban gas, the pipeline pressure is 1500pa-3000pa.

Second: the gas meter valve is closed.

Mechanical gas meters do not have valves, which does not exist.

For intelligent gas meter, the valve of the gas meter must be opened normally. The main reasons affecting the opening of the valve are:

1. The battery is not installed or the battery is dead.

2. The remaining quantity of intelligent gas meter is 0.5%

3. The valve of the smart gas meter is damaged, indicating that the valve is open, but the actual valve is not open.

Third: the reverse installation of gas meter can not pass the gas.

General smart gas meters installed in reverse can use gas normally when the valve is closed, which seriously affects the interests of gas companies. Smart gas meters produced by Zhejiang Rongxin have the function of reverse installation without gas. Therefore, the reverse installation of Zhejiang Rongxin gas meter will not pass the gas.
